gofundme: Boyz-n-Ivy Medical Fund

Our boyz (artist Tom Thoune and photographer/chef Raymond Grubb) and their dog Ivy need help paying their medical and vet bills. Tom suffered a stroke last November, Raymond lost his job and Ivy had to have one of her eyes surgically removed. Although Tom has made constant progress over the past nine months — relearning how to draw, sculpt and paint and going from walker to yoga to jogging with Ivy — he has not recovered 100%. After a long delay due to his caregiver responsibilites for Tom, Raymond has started freelancing again, focusing on platinum paladium portraits. Both are looking for more work. (One-eyed Ivy hasn't missed a beat.) We've set up this fund so friends can help Tom and Raymond offset the cost of medical bills and loss of income.
